Landscape Sensitivity Assessment
The Landscape Sensitivity Assessment (Appendix C) identifies Zone 06 which includes Broadwell:
"The zone lies entirely within the Special Landscape Area and within the Pastoral Lowland Vale landscape character type."
"Setting of Evenlode, Broadwell and Adlestrop Conservation Areas and Listed Buildings within seems to make central and southern areas sensitive."
Impact of Moreton-in-Marsh Expansion
Broadwell is immediately adjacent to the 3,970-home strategic expansion at Moreton-in-Marsh. The IIA notes this will require "significant upgrades" to infrastructure that would take "3-5 years to achieve."
How to use this evidence
Reference both the Landscape Sensitivity Assessment (Special Landscape Area, Conservation Area setting) and the IIA's Moreton expansion impact assessment. The cumulative effect on Broadwell extends beyond its direct 17-home allocation.
